Website Terms and Conditions
WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 5 August 2026
1. Provider and scope
The website https://www.azsportscholarships.com/ (the “Website”) is operated by Aris Zafeiratos, trading as AZ SPORT SCHOLARSHIPS, 31 Charitonidou Street, 11525 Athens, Greece, email contact@azsportscholarships.com, telephone +30 698 918 1203 (“AZ Sport Scholarships”, “we”, “us”).
These Terms govern access to and use of the Website and submission of expressions of interest. A specific written offer, service agreement or event terms prevail for their subject matter.
By using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Informational nature of the Website
Website content provides general information about athletic/academic scholarships, U.S. college sports, guidance services and activities. It is not legal, immigration, tax, medical or independent educational advice and does not replace official rules of universities, the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, embassies, consular authorities or other competent bodies.
We use reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy, but third-party rules, deadlines, programmes, costs, eligibility requirements and scholarship offers may change. Users must verify critical information with the official source.
3. No contract from browsing or submitting a form
Browsing, submitting a form, receiving an initial assessment or communicating with us does not by itself create a contract, booking or payment obligation. The Website has no online checkout and does not process payments.
A service engagement or activity place is confirmed only after personal communication, when:
we issue an express written acceptance or offer,
the specific terms, fee and payment method are agreed,
required declarations/permissions are received,
and any required payment or deposit is made.
4. Athletic scholarship services
Depending on the agreement, services may include athletic and academic assessment, profile preparation, strategy, guidance, communication with universities/coaches and process support.
AZ Sport Scholarships provides professional effort and guidance, not a guaranteed outcome. We do not guarantee:
admission to any university,
an athletic or academic scholarship or any particular amount,
a team place, playing time or continued roster position,
eligibility under NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA or another body,
a visa or other administrative decision,
academic, athletic or professional success.
Final decisions are made by independent third parties. Previous results, testimonials or examples do not promise the same outcome.
5. User and applicant responsibilities
The user or parent/guardian must:
provide true, accurate, complete and current information,
promptly disclose changes affecting eligibility, health or participation,
meet deadlines and cooperate reasonably,
review and approve applications or materials before final submission where requested,
hold the necessary rights to photographs, videos, music, documents or other material supplied to us,
not misrepresent grades, performance, age, identity, medical information or athletic history,
follow rules of universities, sports bodies, venues and activities.
We may suspend or end a service for serious inaccuracy, unlawful conduct, harassment, safety violations or material breach, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
6. Minors
The Website and related services may concern minor athletes, but any contract, participation confirmation or financial commitment for a person under 18 must be made by a parent or holder of parental responsibility.
The parent/guardian represents that they have the relevant authority, that the information supplied is accurate and that they will inform the minor in an age-appropriate way. AZ Sport Scholarships may request evidence of parental authority or additional permission where reasonably necessary.
7. Camps, tours and events
Each activity may have a specific description, dates, schedule, location, requirements, age limits, capacity, price, inclusions, cancellation rules and partners. These details form part of the agreement only as finally disclosed before payment.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. Participation may depend on availability, payment, receipt of required declarations, sports licence/card or medical certificate and compliance with safety rules.
Participants must follow reasonable instructions from coaches and organisers, respect other participants and facilities, and avoid conduct creating risk. Serious or repeated breaches may result in removal after considering age, proportionality and circumstances.
8. Health, fitness and emergencies
The participant and, for a minor, the parent/guardian are responsible for securely disclosing requested health information material to participation. A person should not participate where a doctor has advised against it or where a condition makes the activity unsafe without appropriate adjustment.
An activity is not a medical service. In an emergency, organisers may contact emergency services, provide basic first aid within their training and contact the named parent/guardian or emergency contact. Medical costs are borne by the participant unless law or a specific agreement provides otherwise.
9. Prices, taxes and payment
The applicable price, VAT, inclusions, exclusions, deadline and payment method are disclosed after personal communication and before any financial commitment. Third-party costs such as university applications, tests, translations, travel, visas, insurance, accommodation or transport are excluded unless expressly included.
The Website does not request or process card details. Card information must not be sent through ordinary email or a contact form.
10. Withdrawal, cancellation and refunds
Mandatory consumer rights are not restricted by these Terms.
For a distance contract for consulting services concluded after personal communication, a consumer may have a 14-day withdrawal right unless a lawful exception applies. If the consumer expressly asks for service to begin before the withdrawal period ends and then withdraws, a proportionate amount may be payable for work already provided. If the service has been fully performed after prior express consent and acknowledgement of loss of the right, the right may cease as provided by law.
For accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period, the statutory withdrawal right may be excluded. The specific cancellation/refund policy for each camp, tour or event is clearly disclosed before payment and prevails, subject to mandatory law.
If AZ Sport Scholarships cancels an activity and no acceptable equivalent is offered, the participation fee received for the cancelled service will be refunded. Independent third-party costs, such as flights or hotels booked by the participant, are refunded only where required by law or expressly agreed. Appropriate travel insurance is recommended where travel is involved.
11. Programme changes and force majeure
Reasonable changes to times, coaches, venues or schedule may be required for safety, weather, facility availability, transport, public health or circumstances outside reasonable control. Material changes will be communicated and handled in accordance with applicable law and the specific agreement.
12. Intellectual property
Website content, including text, design, logos, graphics, photographs, videos and databases, belongs to AZ Sport Scholarships or is used under licence and is protected by intellectual property law.
Personal, non-commercial use is permitted. Copying, republication, resale, large-scale scraping, alteration, derivative creation or commercial exploitation without prior written permission is prohibited except where expressly allowed by law.
13. Material you provide
You retain rights in material you provide. You grant us only the limited, non-exclusive permission necessary to assess, prepare a profile, communicate with recipients you approve and perform the service.
Publication for advertising, social media, testimonials or promotion requires separate lawful permission. Uploading material through a form does not itself grant an unlimited public-use licence.
You represent that you may lawfully provide the material and that it does not infringe third-party rights. Do not submit third-party music, photographs, competition footage or documents without appropriate permission.
14. Acceptable use
You must not:
gain or attempt unauthorised access or breach security,
introduce malicious code or excessive automated traffic,
collect other users’ personal data,
impersonate, defraud or submit misleading information,
use content for unlawful, defamatory or harassing purposes.
15. Third-party links and services
The Website may link to universities, sports bodies, maps, social media, hotels, travel providers or other third parties. We do not control their availability, terms, prices or policies and are not liable for their independent acts or omissions except where law provides otherwise.
16. Website availability and security
We seek to keep the Website available and secure, but interruptions, maintenance, errors or external attacks may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss that does not arise from breach of our legal or contractual duty, or for decisions of independent universities, coaches, sports bodies, embassies or other third parties.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud or gross negligence, death or personal injury where limitation is prohibited, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Sport involves inherent risks, but this does not remove our duty to take reasonable safety measures required by our role and the law.
18. Privacy and cookies
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and cookie use in the Cookie Policy. Accepting these Terms does not constitute consent to newsletters, photography or marketing; each optional consent is requested separately.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to services, the Website or law. A new version applies from publication to future use. A material change will not be applied retrospectively to an existing consumer contract to the consumer’s detriment unless lawfully permitted and properly notified.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Greek law. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of mandatory laws of your country of habitual residence and any court rights granted by applicable law.
Before legal action, you may send a complaint to contact@azsportscholarships.com so that we can seek an amicable resolution. Where applicable, a consumer may also contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman at https://www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr/ or another competent alternative dispute resolution body. The former European ODR platform has closed and no link to it should be used.
21. Language
These Terms are available in Greek and English and are intended to have the same meaning. If they conflict, the Greek version prevails, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
22. Severability and no waiver
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the provision is adjusted to the minimum extent necessary. A delay in exercising a right does not waive that right.
